JIM WARRINGTON

President and Strategy Leader

Jim Warrington

Jim brings over 30 years’ experience in integrated communications and marketing consulting to his PR and event marketing agency. Fantail specializes in innovative PR solutions for both consumer and business-to-business marketers. Jim’s branding and strategic development track record includes projects in business strategy, advertising, public and investor relations, event marketing, sponsorship and alliance building. Experience, both domestic and international, from start-ups to global sector leaders spans 21 categories and over 100 businesses and clients.

Throughout his career, Jim has specialized in the consolidation and mobilization of large, multi-disciplinary teams to launch brands and create marketplace opportunity. He is fluent in English and French, and experienced in the Québec market. Jim is a recognized expert on brand equity-building, social marketing and communications. His experience includes corporate communications and planning, marketing, research, pricing, market analysis, forecasting and organizational change direction.

Jim graduated with a degree in Marketing from Bishop’s University in Lennoxville, Québec. He is Past President of the Toronto Chapter of the American Marketing Association and a board member at ABC Canada. He is Co-chair of the Marketing Hall of Legends of Canada.

ROB LANDSMANN

Rob Landsmann

Rob brings Fantail clients depth of experience and program management skills in event marketing, sponsorship activation and media relations.

He has managed the agency team on projects for international clients in education, banking and professional services. Rob is hands on from project start to finish including researching for opportunities and planning of tactics to on site execution.

He is a skilled strategist, marketer, writer and program manager, having successfully built unique promotional, media relations solutions for clients in various industries. He has been recognized for pushing the envelope of sponsorship activation using online platforms for HSBC Bank Canada.

His current responsibilities include client services, as well as business and strategic partnership development for Fantail.

Rob graduated from both the University of Western Ontario and the George Brown College’s post-graduate Sport and Event-Marketing Program. He volunteers his time to such worthy non-profit organizations such as Friends of the Oakville Public Library and Oakville Humane Society.

ANNETTE BORGER

ANNETTE BORGER

Annette's lightning wit and outgoing personality are matched only by her knack for strategizing creative PR campaigns.

Her national and international successes in the private and public sectors are enormous. Her credits range from launching, branding and building credibility for ING DIRECT, ING Group in Canada and Germany, to raising public awareness on government, environmental and social issues. She's launched new products, orchestrated events and established key brands via targeted media relations programs.

In addition to strategic skills, she is an effective communicator with strong links to the media community. Annette has a particular gift for guerilla or street marketing promotions. She has worked with top names including: Merrill Lynch, MagIndustries, Redken, L’Oreal, Construct Canada, TD Bank, PUMA Canada, Brother, ING DIRECT, ING Bank of Canada, Temenos, LOFT Community Services, Skyservice, Fila, EWI, AutoShare, Italian Trade Commission, Goodman Institute, Harco Publishing and YU Magazine.

She holds a Masters of Science, Communication Management from Syracuse University. Annette is the winner of American Women in Public Relations Award for Professional Development.
